Now that I'm back in the US and not traveling, I wanted to make a broader blog to include thoughts on anything, and whatever I'm writing at work or elsewhere for publication. Anything I post here that I've written for something else will have the link, and anything that I post that I didn't write for someone else should be assumed to be coming straight from me and not representing anyone else. I've contributed to Mideast Reports and for the summer of 2011 wrote for my internship with Human Rights First in the Human Rights Defenders Program
I'm a rising junior at Princeton University, concentrating in Near Eastern Studies. I study Arabic and will (inshallah) be going back to Egypt this coming academic year, taking a year off Princeton to pursue Arabic language study and volunteering. I'm from Brooklyn, NY and graduated from LPC UWC in 2009.
